ADVERTISING ASSIGNMENT

The concept is to create a band and advertise their new album release which will include a tour, music video and documentary advertisement.

Self-Portrait #2

Self-portrait Treatments.

Option #1

The intention of this Film is to show the person I am through vignettes of self-description. The script is comprised of a poem showing parts of who I am and what my life involves.To add a storyline and entertainment to this shot film is to include a poem that rhymes and has a comedic value to keep the audience interested throughout the film.

The Film starts with an introduction to the main character then shows the people in her life. The storyline moves to what the main character likes and dislikes and then aspects o her life that are different to other people. I.e. “her hair is curly, she hates to wake up early”.

The poem ends with a message about how some people can be different but they are their own person, which is a special thing to know. I believe this is how to show myself through the self-portrait assignment.

Option #2

The Idea of this self-portrait is to shows the two sides of a persons mind. The black and white footage is to represents the good side and bad side of a person.

The question the lyrics of the songs ask is what makes a person a truly bad person and what makes someone good? For example the lyrics. “Quiet Christian, blood” shows how good you can be while being a monster inside.

The mirrored image represents the two sides of myself. Like a yin yang there is good in bad and bad in good.
